Moraga, CA - Entering its 30th year in 2009, the SMC Gael Classic Invitational, which is scheduled for September 14, 2009, has become the premier athletic fundraising event for Northern California supporters to attend and reunite. Attended by many of our most enthusiastic and loyal Gael alumni, family, and friends, this annual event has become a can't-miss day to meet and mingle with other Gael fans and offers something for everybody throughout the day.

Highlights of the day include the scramble format golf tournament, the course itself, mingling with coaches, student-athlete speakers at the reception, updates from the Athletic Director and President and a raucous live auction.

The event will take place at Discovery Bay Country Club in Byron, CA. A shotgun start begins at 10:30 am, with reception and auction to follow immediately.

Entry fees are $1,100 per foursome, $300 per individual ($275 prior to August 14) and $250 for GOLD Alumni (SMC classes 2000-09). Sponsorship opportunities are available.

All proceeds from this event benefit the Gael Athletic Fund, which directly support SMC student-athletes and coaches. Your participation helps to improve our athletic programs including recruiting, scholarships, technology development and much more.
