High School: Comes to Saint Mary's from nearby De La Salle High School, where he was a two-time letter winner for the Spartans in baseball...the infielder was named First Team All-East Bay Athletic League in 2009, as well as a scholar athlete in 2009 and 2010...in his junior season he hit .523 with three home runs and 12 RBI, with 13 stolen bases...his senior season he finished the year with a .269 average, clubbing two homeruns, driving in 15 and swiping six bags...he was also recruited by UC Davis, Cal Poly Pomona, Sonoma State, and Seattle.
