2015 (Senior): Hard-throwing right-hander closed his SMC career by making four appearances, all out of the bullpen ... pitched three innings and allowed five runs to end the year with a 15.00 ERA ... opposing hitters batted just .182 against him ... first two appearances of the year were his strongest as he tossed 1/3 of an inning against CSUN and backed that up the next day with a two-inning, three-strikeout performance against the Matadors ... missed time in the middle of the season due to a foot injury ... named to the WCC Commissioner's Honor Roll Bronze list for carrying a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49.
2014 (Junior): Appeared in six games, tossing a total of 5 2/3 innings and allowing seven earned runs on seven hits and nine walks ... Longest performance of the season came in his final outing, pitching two innings on May 4 at San Diego and allowing just one run ... Threw an effective 2/3 of an inning at home against Kansas State on Feb. 21, walking one and striking out one ... Threw an inning and 2/3 against future NCAA tournament team San Diego State on March 2 in Moraga, allowing a run with two strikeouts.
2013 (Sophomore): Appeared in 14 games, making one start... finished the year 0-1 with a 4.76 ERA... he tossed 17 innings, allowing nine earned runs with six strikeouts... made only start of the year against Nevada on March 26th... hurled three shutout frames against Sacramento State on March 12th... tossed a scoreless inning on April 21st against Portland, which turned out to be his final appearance of the year due to injury.
2012 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 games making one start...made his collegiate debut on 2/18 against Southern Utah throwing a perfect inning in relief...for the year he 1-0 with a 2.29 ERA in 19.2 innings pitched, he allowed 22 hits, five earned runs with five walks and 14 strike outs...earned his first collegiate win on 3/11 at San Diego State...boasted a 2.8 K/BB ratio...made his first collegiate start against Northern Illinois on 3/3 going three innings and striking out four...did not allow an earned run in 11 of his 14 appearances...made nine consecutive appearances without giving up an earned run, a streak of 13.0 innings...threw two perfect innings at No. 2 Stanford on 3/28...earned his first collegiate save on 4/23 against UC Santa Barbara, pitched 1.2 innings without allowing a base runner to reach...In West Coast Conference action he made three appearances with a 3.60 ERA...in 5.0 innings pitched he allowed 2 earned runs, five hits, a walk and three strike outs.
High School: Drafted by the Chicago Cubs in the 45th round (1,359th overall) of the 2011 Major League Baseball First Year Player Draft...was a seven time letterman for Sherwood High School, four times for baseball, twice for basketball and once in football...in his senior campaign he went 9-2 2ith a 1.96 ERA in 71.1 innings pitched...he allowed just 68 hits while striking out 87...following his senior season he was named the number four high school prospect in the state of Oregon by Baseball Northwest...he was twice named to the All-Northwest Oregon Conference First Team and once named to the second team...his junior season in 41 inning she sported a 2.73 ERA with 62 strikeouts as a sophomore he tallied a 1.65 ERA in 51 innings.
