"We knew it was going to be a tough game. They have been playing well and they were able to finish this one. They shot the three well. They hit six threes in the half and you just can't let them do that. They made shots and they played well defensively. I think there were a lot of factors to that. That was the number one thing, though. They played well. We'll be up for Utah State. We were up tonight. They just outplayed us. That happens sometimes. It wasn't a factor that we weren't ready. We were up eight at half and ready to play."

"They hit a bunch of shots in the second half and they exploited us a little defensively. We gave up way too many good looks and second chances. Give them credit. They knocked down a bunch of shots.

"We are going to go out (Saturday) with the same mentality. We are going to focus on what we can control, not worry about outside influences. We have one or two practices before that game so we are going to go back to work on some little things we need to tighten up.

"Our guys, I thought, were pretty dialed-in and ready to play. San Diego played us tough at home last time. So, our guys knew they were not as bad as their record shows. They are a good team in our conference. Last time we played them, they had us down the second half at our place. Our guys were ready to play."
