Annual Car Drawing a big success!
The 34th Annual Car Drawing presented by Steadauto.com took place on Saturday, February 26th on the campus of Saint Mary's College. The event included delicious food stations, a hosted bar and an extensive silent auction. This year's event raised over $50,000 for the Gael Athletic Fund and student-athlete scholarships.
Robert Enright, whose family has participated in the drawing for many years, won the grand prize with ticket #281!
Head Coaches Marty Kinsey and Adam Cooper, along with student-athletes Tom Mohoric and Jared Medina from men's soccer, Ashley Soro and Daelyn Paul from women's soccer and Brad Alban and Rosie Smith from cross country spoke to the crowd of over 275 people, highlighting how support of the Gael Athletic Fund allows the Gaels to compete at the highest levels of the NCAA.
This is the 16th year Steadauto.com has served as the presenting sponsor for the Car Drawing and this event has raised more than $1.8 million for Saint Mary's athletic scholarships over the past 33 years.
