• Contact Emergency Medical Services (EMS) by dialing Public Safety at (925) 631-4282 from a land line telephone if possible. Say you are activating the EMERGENCY ACTION PLAN for Saint Mary's Sports Medicine.

• Tell them there is a medical emergency at: Give Your Location and give the directions to the facility you are at by having the ambulance come to:

a) Baseball, Louis Guisto Field - Located on De la Salle Drive near campus entrance to Saint Mary's College. From Saint Mary's Parkway, turn right onto De la Salle Drive and follow to main entrance, just behind home plate, OR if entering playing field, enter through large green wooden doors near third base dugout and adjacent parking lot.

b) Saint Mary's Stadium - Located at end of Gael Way, behind McKeon Pavilion and Football Practice Field. From Saint Mary's Parkway, turn left onto De la Salle Drive (through roundabout) and then a left onto Gael Way. Follow to the end of the street to main entrance and enter field.

c) Upper Practice Field - Located at end of Gael Way, behind McKeon Pavilion and Madigan Gymnasium. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a left onto De la Salle Drive and then a left onto Gael Way. Follow to the end of the street, turn left just prior to Saint Mary's Stadium main entrance and enter field at gate entrance near Snack Bar, OR if entering the playing field, turn left just prior to Saint Mary's Stadium main entrance through gate and enter field.

d) McKeon Pavilion - Located on De la Salle Drive, next to Madigan Gymnasium. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a left onto De La Salle Drive and follow to the turnaround adjacent to McKeon Gymnasium.

e) Madigan Gymnasium - Located on De La Salle Drive, next to McKeon Pavilion. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a left onto De La Salle Drive and follow to lawn located on left side, in front of McKeon Pavilion.

f) Softball, Cottrell Field - Located on Saint Mary's Parkway. Enter Saint Mary's Parkway make a right onto gravel road and follow to field, OR if entering the field, make a right onto gravel road and enter field through right field gate.

g) Power Plant - Located on De La Salle Drive, in between Assumption Hall and Saint Joseph Hall. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a left onto De La Salle Drive and follow to Power Plant building on left. To reach Power Plant weight room, take side road between Power Plant and Saint Joseph Hall and follow to entrance.

h) Garaventa Soccer Field - Located on Saint Mary's Parkway. Enter Saint Mary's Parkway make a left into Garaventa Soccer Field parking lot. Field is located behind Pat Vincent Memorial Rugby Field, OR if entering playing field, enter gate to paved road in Garaventa Soccer Field parking lot and follow to field on the right.

i) Rugby, Pat Vincent Memorial Field - Located on Saint Mary's Parkway. Enter Saint Mary's Parkway make a left into Garaventa Soccer Field parking lot. Field is located in front of Garaventa Soccer field, OR if entering playing field, enter gate onto the paved road in Garaventa Soccer Field parking lot and follow to field on the right.

j) Timothy Korth Tennis Courts - Located on De La Salle Drive behind both Louis Guisto Baseball Field and Cottrell Softball Field. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a right onto De La Salle Drive and follow to parking lot on left, in front of intramural field. Follow paved path behind Louis Guisto Baseball Field outfield wall to tennis courts.

k) Swimming Pool - Located on De La Salle Drive inside Madigan Gymnasium. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a left onto De La Salle Drive and follow to Madigan Gymnasium on left side. Enter Madigan Gymnasium and follow signs to pool entrance.

l) Intramural Field - Located on De La Salle Drive next to Louis Guisto Baseball Field. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a right onto De La Salle Drive and follow to parking lot on left. Intramural Field is located next to parking lot, OR if entering field, follow parking lot to Louis Guisto Baseball Field outfield wall to paved road and enter field.

m) Athletic Training Room - Located on De La Salle Drive, inside Madigan Gymnasium. From Saint Mary's Parkway, make a left onto De La Salle Drive and follow to Madigan Gymnasium on left side. Enter Madigan Gymnasium and follow signs to training room entrance.

n) Saint Mary's Boathouse - Located on Briones Reservoir, follow Moraga Way through Orinda, under the 24 (turns into Camino Pablo), turn Right onto Bear Creek Road. Drive around and up the hill, on your left will be a gate. The code is 3000 and Saint Mary's Boathouse is the furthest away from the gate.

o) Other - Provide exact directions to your specific location.

3. Give the nature of the injury, if you know it. Inform them who is on scene

4. Tell them a staff member will meet them at the gate/door/parking lot. Send someone to wait for the ambulance at this time.

5. Give the dispatcher your name and phone number and stay on the line, unless otherwise directed.

6. Call your athletic trainer and inform them that an emergency has taken place and inform them where you have been taken.
