
BSB: Former Gael Mark Teahen On The Move

CHICAGO, Ill - Former Saint Mary's baseball player Mark Teahen is on the move, it was announced on Wednesday that Teahen as well as his Chicago White Sox teammate Edwin Jackson were part of a four player deal between the White Sox and the Toronto Blue Jays.
Teahen, who played at SMC from 2000-02, was drafted in the first round (39th overall pick) by the Oakland Athletics after finishing his career the all-time leader in batting average hitting .368. Teahen broke into the big leagues with the Kansas City Royals in 2005 and signed with the White Sox in the 2010 off season.
This season, Teahen is hitting .203 with three home runs and 11 RBI in 118 at bats and 51 games played. In his seven year career Teahen is a .265 hitter with 66 home runs 329 RBI in 804 games played.
