Allie DeBruhl of the Saint Mary's lacrosse team was named SMC student-athlete of the week on March 20. DeBruhl led the Gaels to a victory over Long Island by scoring a career-high six goals in SMC's 19-11 victory over the Blackbirds.
DeBruhl also got the Gaels off to a strong start on Saturday as she finished the game with a goal and assist in the loss to Boston University.
For the week, DeBruhl scored seven goals with one assist and took 12 shots.
