AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14): In a win at Portland State, the sophomore scored nine points with five rebounds... she shot 4-for-6 from the field and hit her first three-pointer of the year... scored a career-high 23 points on 7-for-14 shooting, including 5-for-9 from three-point land in SMCs 90-86 OT win at Butler... Nicholson hit two three-pointers in OT, helping the Gaels secure the win, she also added eight rebounds and two steals... poured in a new career-high of 26 points in the win over UCSB... she converted 10 of her first 11 field-goals in recording her career-high... recorded a new career-high for the third consecutive week, pouring in 28 points on 9-for-12 shooting, including 7-for-9 from behind the arc in the Hilton Concord Classic win over Alabama... finished the Classic averaging 19.0 ppg, shooting 13-for-16 from the field and 8-for-10 from three-point range... was named Muscle Milk SMC student-athlete of the week for her performance at the Hilton Concord Classic... triggered a game-ending 12-0 run by hitting a three-pointer with three minutes left in a 72-60 win over Cal State Northridge... scored 18 points in a win at San Francisco.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13): Missed the first three games of the year after suffering an injury... made season debut on November 23 against Butler, appearing in five minutes, grabbing three rebounds... scored seven points in just 12 minutes in a win over Chattanooga... first double-digit game of the year came at UC Davis on December 6, scoring 13 points with four rebounds on 4-for-6 field-goals.
HIGH SCHOOL: Most recently, Nicholson has played for the WNBL club team, the Sydney Uni Flames... She also played for the Sutherland Sharks in the NSW Waratah ABL... Over the last two years, the six-foot Aussie has averaged 15.6 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.0 assists, while shooting at a 48.6 percent clip from the field. Other experience includes the FIBA U17 World Championships, the FIBA Oceania U17 Championships and participation in the Australian Youth Olympic Festival where Australia won Gold.
