MORAGA, Calif. -- Tickets to watch the Saint Mary's men and women's soccer and volleyball teams in action this fall are on sale through the SMC Athletic Ticket Office and online through SMCGaels.com.
For information or to purchase tickets, click here or call the Athletic Ticket Office at (925) 631-GoTx (4689).
A variety of ticket options are available for all three sports, including group youth packages that provide kids an opportunity to get up-close and personal with Saint Mary's student-athletes and coaches. Returning in 2015 is the popular "Family Funday" ticket for all Friday matches (Thursday for volleyball) that includes a ticket, hot dog, chips and soft drink for just $10.
Season tickets to watch the SMC men and women's soccer teams start at just $25 for youth and seniors and general admission seats are priced at $30 each. A special family package that includes four (4) general admission tickets to every game costs just $80.
Fans of the Gaels volleyball team can purchase season tickets for as low as $30 (youth/senior), while adult general admission is priced at $40 and family plans are available for $80.
Single game tickets for all three sports are also on sale. Youth/Senior tickets are available for just $5, while the adult general admission price is $7 per ticket.
Group tickets, which requires a purchase of a minumum number of tickets, are available for a special discounted price. And, special packages are available for youth teams and birthday parties - both of which include additional benefits such as apparel, food and drink, autographs, photos and halftime scrimmages.
The Saint Mary's men's soccer team returns 17 letterwinners and eight starters from last year's group that registered the most wins in program history. The Gaels finished as West Coast Conference runners-up and narrowly missed qualifying for the program's third NCAA Tournament appearance in the last six seasons.
Since 2009, Saint Mary's owns a .500 or better record against five of its seven West Coast Conference opponents, including all three of its Northern California league rivals. During that period, a total of 18 Saint Mary's players have earned all-conference honors and the program has produced two league defenders of the year and a goalkeeper of the year.
The Saint Mary's women's soccer program will have a new look as head coach Travis Clarke takes the reigns in 2015. He inherits a program on the rise as the Gaels saw a 66 percent increase in results last year and returns a solid core of players.
The Gaels tied a pair of the top teams in the nation last season and return a trio of All-West Coast Conference honorees. Saint Mary's will once again battle in one of the toughest conferences in the nation against traditional powers in BYU, Portland, Santa Clara and Pepperdine.
Saint Mary's volleyball enters a new era in 2015 as a highly touted group of newcomers is expected to blend with a talented returning core in head coach Rob Browning's 11th season at the helm. Five returning sophomores will help set the tone for a young squad that will also look for contributions from four true freshmen.
Under Browning's watch, Saint Mary's has continued to build on and sustain its reputation as one of the most consistent programs on the West Coast. The Gaels have finished with a winning record eight times in 10 seasons under Browning and reached the NCAA Tournament four times. This season Browning recruited a familiar face to make her debut on the bench this year as 3-time All-WCC selection Mandy Bible returns to Moraga as an assistant coach.
