MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's College Director of Athletics Mike Matoso announced today staff promotions and assignments throughout the department, incorporating areas of external relations, internal affairs, student-athlete support services and operations.

Since arriving on campus in July, Matoso has made several key moves, created new policies and has streamlined efforts for efficiency. Matoso announced his senior staff today, with Kami Gray being named Senior Associate Athletic Director for Finance and Student-Athlete Services and Senior Woman Administrator (SWA). Ryan Reggiani remains Senior Associate Athletic Director for External Relations and Marty Storti was named Senior Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations.

Gray will now oversee the department's finances, travel, equipment, academic services, compliance, sports medicine and strength and conditioning. Reggiani will oversee marketing, revenue generation, ticketing, digital media, communications and fan engagement, and Storti will oversee facilities, event management, athletic camps and campus recreation.

Individual promotions within the areas of facilities includes Ed Arnold moving to Assistant Athletic Director for Event Management and the addition of an Assistant Athletic Director for Facility Operations, which will be filled shortly.

External relations will see the move of Hank Stern to Associate Athletic Director for Revenue Generation, the promotion of Alex Bae to Director for Athletic Communications and the promotion of Mark Rivera to Director for Athletic Communications, with each having individual sports assigned. External relations will soon add a new Director of Marketing and Fan Engagement in the coming weeks.

Internal affairs saw the promotion of Ashley Nied to Director of Business Operations, and Stacey Nittler was named Executive Assistant to the Director of Athletics and will take on the lead role of human resources within the athletic department.
