• SET TWO | The second set started off similar to the first, with both teams going point-for-point in the beginning. But the Gaels took control of the momentum during the middle of the set and went on a 12-point streak to win it 25-15.

• SET THREE | The third was another close one as the two teams never led by more than four points. It was close down to the wire, with no clear leader in this set until the Gaels pulled it out late for a 28-26 win after a second marathon set.

• SET FOUR |  Saint Mary's brought the momentum from the previous set into the fourth and kept within a one-point reach of LMU. It remained close for the whole period and all four of the timeouts were taken during the last ten points recorded in the set. The Lions ended up winning 25-23 and forcing a fifth.
