MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary's men's basketball team is ready to gain valuable experience down under when they travel to New Zealand and Australia beginning Friday.
 
The Gaels have set seven games on the tour, facing excellent competition and utilizing time to come together as a unit. All total, Saint Mary's will play seven games in 12 days.
 
Following two games and three days in Christchurch, the Gaels will head to Melbourne for two games in three days. A quick trip to Hobart has the Gaels playing in one game, then back to Sydney for two more games in three days to end the trip.
 
Saint Mary's has been practicing on campus this past week, and will have one day to settle into New Zealand before playing its first game of the tour.
