The Gaels will dig in at Notre Dame on Friday for their second meet of the season.
SOUTH BEND, Ind. — The Saint Mary's men's and women's cross country teams will compete in their second invitational of the season at the National Catholic Invitational on Friday in South Bend, Ind.

Friday, 12:30 p.m. PT - Men's Open 5 Mile
Friday, 1:15 p.m. PT - Women's Championship 5k
Friday, 2:00 p.m. PT - Men's Championship 5 Mile
Friday, 3:00 p.m. PT - Awards Ceremony
PREVIOUS MEET AT USF INVITATIONAL
Saint Mary's began their season at the USF Invitational two weeks ago as three freshmen from both the men's and women's teams had their collegiate debut.
On the men's side, the Gaels were led by Nolan Dozier, Derek D'Amelia, and Alex Riggsby while Kaela Dishion, Abigayle Mitchell and Katie Watson led the women's. Junior Nolan Dozier led the men's in the 8,000 meter varsity run with a time of 25:46.6. As the lead for the women's team, Kaela Dishion ran a time of 22:49.5 in the 6,000 meter varsity run.
THE FIELD
There will be 30 teams competing in the invitational including Notre Dame who is ranked 23rd on the women's side. The Irish women's team have won the National Catholic Invitational for the last 11 consecutive years.
