MTEN | Gaels Earn Ten Wins at ITA Regionals

Saint Mary's picked up double digit victories during the first day of the ITA Regionals.

STANFORD, Calif. — Saint Mary's earned 10 wins on the opening day of the ITA Regionals and were led by Damon Kesaris' two wins in singles play.

Kesaris advanced to the round of 32 with two wins in singles by defeating his opponents 6-1, 6-3 and 6-1, 6-1. Six other Gaels picked up wins in the round of 128 but were defeated in their next match.

In doubles, two Gael tandems will play on Saturday after earning wins in the opening round. Boris Reckow and Abishek Bastola defeated their opponents from Gonzaga 8-5 while Kesaris and James Watt teamed up for an 8-4 win against Portland State.
