MTEN | Kesaris Advances to Round of 16 at ITA Regionals

Damon Kesaris will play again on Sunday at Stanford University after earning his third singles win of the tournament.

STANFORD, Calif. — Damon Kesaris advanced to the round of 16 in singles play at the ITA Regionals after picking up another win in singles play on Saturday.

Kesaris defeated Paul Giraud of San Francisco in straight sets, 6-2, 6-1. The senior will now play J. Nielsen from Oregon tomorrow in the next round.

The Gaels also earned five wins in consolation singles from Akbar Mamirov, Jackson Hawk, Boris Reckow, Andy Watterson, and Matis Bot. All five victories came in straight set fashion.
