STANFORD, Calif. — Senior Damon Kesaris completed the ITA Regionals on Tuesday as the last man standing as the Gael won the singles championship in his seventh match of the tournament. 

Kesaris didn't drop a single set during his championship run which culminated on the final day of the event with a 7-6(2), 6-0 win over No. 75 Yuta Kikuchi from Cal. Kikuchi was the top-seed in the 128-man field. 

The Durban, South Africa native reached the finals round after defeating Oregon's Emmanuel Coste, the No. 100 singles player in the nation, 6-2, 6-4 yesterday. 

All told, Kesaris was a perfect 7-0 at the Regionals and will now advance to the ITA Fall National Championships in Newport Beach, Calif. beginning Nov. 6. The competition, which will also feature Mariia Kozyreva from the Gaels' women's team, hosts the top-64 men's and women's collegiate players in the country. 

Saint Mary's final team tournament will take place this weekend in Stockton at the Pacific Invitational.
