FRESNO, Calif. — Saint Mary's claimed five victories on Sunday to finish out the Bulldog Classic on a high note. 

The Gaels collected four wins on singles courts courtesy of Matis Bot, Boris Reckow, Andy Watterson, and Abhishek Bastola. Bot recorded an impressive victory as he easily defeated Sacramento State's Vizcarra 6-0, 6-0 for the Gaels most dominated performance in singles. Reckow also earned a straight set win with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Rodriguez from Sacramento State. 

Watterson and Bastola each went to three sets in their respective contests as Watterson defeated his opposition 6-3, 2-6, 1-0(4) while Bastola wrapped up the victories in singles with a 4-6, 6-1, 1-0(9) defeat over Garpered from San Francisco. 

James Watt was close to victory in his singles matchup as he collected a 6-1 win in the first set before his opponent ultimately retired after the second. 

SMC's lone victorious doubles duo on Sunday was the tandem of Karlo Divkovic and Bastola who earned a 8-7(2) defeat over UC Riversides' Horunzhy/Gomez-Martin pair.
