ABOUT ARIZONA STATE
The Sun Devils come into Wednesday's affair with an 8-2 record and are riding a five-game win streak. ASU has defeated San Francisco, St. John's, and Georgia this season with losses against Colorado in the team's season opener and a 3-point loss to No. 7 Virginia. The team is currently No. 29 in the NET rankings.

Junior guard Remy Martin is the Sun Devils' standout scorer as he averages 20.3 points per game and 4.0 assists. Forward Romello White is averaging a double-double with 12.7 ppg and 10.8 rpg and is shooting an impressive 73 percent from the field.

The Gaels and Sun Devils have met only once before in a 1954 New Years' Eve matchup in Madigan Gym. Saint Mary's came out on top in that battle, 87-82.

ABOUT NEVADA
The Wolf Pack are 7-4 and 1-0 in Mountain West Conference play so far this year. Nevada was also riding a five-game win streak, including a 31-point win over Santa Clara, before getting thumped by BYU by 33 in their last game. The Wolf Pack will host Texas Southern before taking on the Gaels at Chase Center.

Nevada is led by their two top scorers, Jalen Harris and Jazz Johnson. Both guards — Harris is averaging 17.5 points per game while Johnson is a smidge behind at 17.4. Lindsey Drew (13.1) and Nisre Zouzoua (10.0) are also figuring into double figures this year for the Wolf Pack.

Saint Mary's and Nevada last met in 2016 in Moraga in the teams' season opener. Jock Landale scored 33 points and grabbed nine rebounds in his first career start to lead SMC to victory.
