MORAGA, Calif. – Newly-appointed Saint Mary's baseball head coach Greg Moore has signed his second contract of the summer, joining the coaching staff for the 2019 USA Collegiate National Team.
 
Moore is a Team USA veteran, having served as an assistant coach for the 18U National Teams in 2015 and 2016 who each won gold medals. In his most previous stint, he held his pitching staff's earned run average to a miniscule, 1.19. Moore will be the team's Pitching Coach this summer and will head to Cary, North Carolina on June 25. The team will compete in four intrasquad exhibition contests and a game against the Coastal Carolina Plain League. Then, they will take on Cuba, Chinese Taipei, and Japan.
 
The staff will be led by head coach Dan McDonnell (Louisville) and he will be assisted by Mark Kingston (South Carolina), Tony Skole (The Citadel), Dave Turgeon (Pittsburgh Pirates), and Moore.
