QUOTABLE
"On the women's side, I was really impressed with how close our top five was together and how they all competed as a unit," said head coach Marty Kinsey. "To be in the same group as some of the top runners in the region is a great place to start the season. On the men's side, their goal is to stay patient throughout the race. They made a big push in the last two kilometers and moved up many spots. It is really encouraging to know that we can compete with some of the best teams in the region."
