Kuhse Named Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. — Tommy Kuhse has been named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Nov. 23-29 for helping the men's basketball team jump out to a 2-1 record to begin their season.
The redshirt senior averaged 11.7 points and 5.3 assists during the week in addition to grabbing 4.3 rebounds per contest. He also led the team in minutes played (37.3) and shot 44 percent from beyond the arc.
Kuhse had an all-around dominant game on Thanksgiving Day as he scored 19 points, just one shy of his career-best, and scored the game-winning bucket with 1.8 seconds left on the clock. He also had six rebounds, five assists, three blocks, and three steals.
In the win over South Dakota State, Kuhse kept the offense flowing with seven assists in addition to scoring eight points as the Gaels rolled past the Jackrabbits, 72-59.
Saint Mary's returns to the court tomorrow for their first home game of the season versus Nicholls State. Tip-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
