Reckow Dubbed Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. — Boris Reckow from men's tennis has been named this week's Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week after earning two wins in the Gaels' season opener against Cal yesterday.
In doubles, Reckow teamed up with James Watt to knock off the Bears' No. 36 ranked tandem of Paul Barretto/Can Kaya with a 6-4 score. The junior then went on to grab another point for the team in singles as he defeated Thomas Wright in straight sets in the No. 6 singles position, 7-6(2), 6-2.
Saint Mary's returns to the court against Southern California on Friday, Feb. 5. The contest will take place on the Trojans' campus and a game time is not yet set.
