SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - James Watt took home the top spot in the A Flight Singles Bracket at the UCSB Classic this past weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif.

After his 6-3, 6-4 victory over Phillip Jordan of the Gauchos in the quarterfinals, Watt defeated back-to-back players from Pepperdine University taking out Corrado Summaria 7-6, 4-6, 6-4 in the semifinal and Enrique Luque 4-6, 7-7, 6-4 in the finals.
 
Boris Reckow advanced to the semifinals of the C Flight Singles bracket by defeating Jonathan Zhang of UCSB 7-5, 7-5, before Ben Keyser of Cal Poly got the win 6-4, 6-1 in the semis.
 
The tandem of Felipe Rincon and Carlos Ramos Membrives advanced all the way to the finals of the C Flight Doubles bracket defeating the UCSB team of Josh Williams and Diego Castillo 8-3. Rincon and Ramos Membrives were barely defeated in the finals 8-7 by Stevie Gould and David Woodland of USF.
