LAST TIME OUT
Saint Mary's erased a three-point halftime deficit to take down Missouri State 75-58 on Wednesday in Moraga. The Gaels used another dominant second half to overpower the Bears, outscoring MSU 42-22 in the final 20 minutes of play. Tommy Kuhse provided a big spark off the bench, his first non-start of the year, and Logan Johnson had his best scoring game of the year since the season-opening four-game home stand. The 53.6% clip that SMC shot from the field was their best mark of the 2021-22 season.

KEEP FEEDING THIS GUY
One constant for Saint Mary's over the last seven games has been the play of Matthias Tass. The senior out of Estonia has been on a tear as of late, and he saved his best performance for Wednesday night. For the second time this season, Tass set a career-best in points by putting up 27 against Missouri State. He was extremely efficient from the floor as well, going 12-15 shooting the basketball, and making all three of his free throws. He couldn't be stopped in the second half, racking up 17 of his points after halftime. In the last seven games, Tass is averaging 15.9 points per game and is shooting an incredible 67.1% from the floor.

ABOUT YALE
Yale makes it longest trip of the season to close out 2021. It is the final non-league game for Yale, which opens Ivy League play on Sunday vs. Columbia at the John J. Lee Amphitheater. It has been a productive and challenging non-conference slate for the Bulldogs. All seven of Yale's losses have come to teams that have overall records of two games over .500 or better. The combined overall record of those seven opponents is 63-20 (.759). The Bulldogs also own impressive victories over UMass, Siena and Milwaukee among their six wins.
