

Logan Johnson Earns Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week

MORAGA, Calif. — Logan Johnson has been named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week for the period of March 1-7 for his performance in the men's basketball team's win over Loyola Marymount.
Johnson posted a game-high 25 points in the Gaels' five point victory over LMU in the quarterfinals of the West Coast Conference Tournament. The junior was 9-of-15 from the field, 7-of-9 at the free throw line, and played all 40 minutes in the game. It's the second time Johnson has been named the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week this season.
Saint Mary's hung on to defeat Loyola Marymount 52-47 and will now play No.1 Gonzaga in the semifinals of the WCC Tournament tonight at 6 p.m. on ESPN. Additional links for the game can be found on the team's schedule page.
