BERKELEY, Calif. – The second day of the Call Fall Invite wrapped up Saturday evening, which Stephanie Silva advance in the singles bracket, as well as the doubles pairing of
Jordan Harris and
Lene Mari Hovda.

After two wins in the gold bracket on Friday, Harris and Hovda built on their momentum, cruising past the Cal pairing of Cami Brown and Makenna Thiel Saturday morning 8-1. The Gaels duo are set to take on the Stanford combo of Ana Geller and Valencia Xu in the gold doubles final on Sunday morning.Â
Gabriela Tevez and Stephanie Silva were also in action on the doubles court, beating San Jose State's duo of Rozalina Youseva and Jovana Babic. The Saint Mary's pairing are set to play in the white consolation draw tomorrow.

On the singles side, multiple Gaels were in action in the singles bracket Saturday morning.
Jordan Harris moved on in the blue consolation draw. Harris won twice, first beating Sacramento State's Madelyn Ferreros 7-5, 6-3. She then took on USF's Simran Chhabra, cruising to a 6-1, 6-1 victory. Harris is set to take on Pacific's MiaAngelina Ruja in the consolation semifinals tomorrow.
Sophomore
Olivia Rook had a great day in gold consolation draw, winning two tough matches. She first faced off against Pacific's Alexis Sam, where she battled to a 7-5, 6-7 (7), 10-4 victory. Rook then took on Sacramento State's Julia Moraes, where she had a much more comfortable match, winning 6-1, 6-2. Rook is set to take on Cal Poly's Kennedy Buntrock in the consolation semifinals tomorrow.Â
Madison Weekley recorded her first singles win as Gael by beating Anna Semler of Santa Clara 6-3, 6-2 before losing to Cal Poly's Misha Berry 6-4, 6-0.
After a comfortable performance Friday morning,
Lene Mari Hovda faced the top seed in the blue bracket, Connie Ma of Stanford. Hovda battled early, but Ma ultimately prevailed, winning 6-1, 6-0.Â
Jamie Pope also play well Saturday, but ultimately came up short in a hard fought match against Cal Poly's Sasha Ozerets 3-6, 2-6.

Stephanie Silva continued to impress in the gold bracket after her exciting first round win on Friday morning. Silva faced San Jose State's Irena Muradyan Saturday morning, where she soared to a 6-4, 6-2 victory. Silva then took on on Stanford's India Houghton Saturday afternoon in the gold quarterfinals, where her run came to a close, as Houghton defeated her 6-2, 6-3.
