MBB | WCC Announces SMC Games on ESPN and CBSSN

SAN MATEO, Calif. — The West Coast Conference announced on Tuesday morning the preliminary national television broadcast schedule for all teams, and Saint Mary's is well represented. The Gaels will be appearing on national television for at least eight conference games, with the possibility for additional games to be added to networks in the near future.
Six of the Gaels West Coast Conference matchups will appear on the ESPN family of networks (ESPN, ESPN2, or ESPNU), in addition to two more regular season games at the Paycom Wooden Legacy and their contest against Houston at The Battleground 2k22. Both games against BYU and Gonzaga will be televised on ESPN, while the Gaels will also be on the ESPN family of networks for their road game at Pepperdine and their home contest with San Francisco.
Saint Mary's will also appear on CBS Sports Network twice during the regular season, once at home and once on the road. The home contest is against Loyola Marymount on January 12, and the road game is at Portland on February 11. Game times have not been announced yet by the network.
The February 4 home contest against Gonzaga will appear on either ESPN or ESPN2, as the game will be flexed in by ESPN. Both Saint Mary's and Gonzaga will be notified of the decision 14 days in advance of the game. The 7:00 pm start time would reflect ESPN2, and the 7:30 pm start time would reflect ESPN.

Additional network broadcasts on CBS Sports, Fox Sports and NBC Sports will be released at later dates and are subject to change.
All games aired on an ESPN network will also be available through the ESPN app, accessible on computers, smartphones, tablets and connected devices to fans who receive their video subscription from an affiliated provider.
The season officially begins for Saint Mary's on Monday, November 7 with a 7:00 pm home contest against Oral Roberts. The Gaels will play their first five games of the season inside University Credit Union Pavilion.
