BERKELEY, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis had two players move on to day two of the ITA Regionals, as
Caelan Potts advanced to the round of 16 in the singles bracket, along with he and
Diego Jarry advancing as a doubles combo.

Potts won two matches to advance to the "sweet 16" of the regionals, taking out Kadiri Youssef of Nevada 6-4, 6-4 and Saini Manroop of Pacific 6-4, 6-3. He'll take on No. 8 Ryan Torres of UC Davis at 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

Potts and Jarry both advanced in doubles by defeating Coleton Hootman and Constantinos Djakouris 8-2. Friday at 9:00 a.m they'll face No. 5 tandem Lucas Magnaudet and Alex Chang of Cal, who had a first-round bye.

Jarry got a win in the singles round of 64 as well, defeating Santiago Hinojosa of Santa Clara 6-1, 2-6, 6-3 before a 6-4, 3-6, 4-6 loss to Juan Batalla of Nevada.
Felipe Rincon also advanced to the round of 32 with a win over Jan Silva of Sacramento State 6-4, 6-1. He battled Matheo Coupo of Nevada to a 7-5 tiebreaker loss in the first of a 6-7, 0-6 loss.
