PROVO, Utah – The Gaels played their last WCC contest in Provo against the Cougars, and ended their stretch of six-straight road games with a 66-41 loss to BYU.

The Gaels had their moments against the Cougars, with defensive stretches like the beginning of the third quarter where they forced eight BYU turnovers and kept them scoreless for over six minutes.

Saint Mary's led for the first three minutes of the game before BYU took the lead for good with 6:27 to go in the first quarter.

Taycee Wedin was the only Gael to score in double figures, finishing with 10 points, and hitting two more three pointers as she extends her WCC record to 354 made threes.
