Hannah Rapp had a big week for the Gaels, recording her first career double-double and securing the Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week Award.

The Melbourne, Australia native has cleaned more glass than Windex as the Gaels top rebounder this season, averaging 7.5 boards per game with 60 total rebounds in eight contests.

Rapp pulled down a career-high 16 rebounds against UC Davis on December 3 while scoring 11 points for her first double-double. It was her second double-digit rebounding game of the season, topping her previous career high of 10 boards against the Kansas Jayhawks during the SMC Thanksgiving Classic.

She also scored 12 points with nine rebounds earlier in the week on December 1 at San Jose State, to average 11.5 points and 12.5 rebounds over the Gaels two games this week. Rapp had two games with eight rebounds this season as well against Cal Baptist and Niagara.

Rapp is shooting 50% exactly from the field so far this year (21 of 42) and is 4 of 11 from three-point range. Saint Mary's begins a stretch of six-stretch road games to finish the calendar year, beginning with a trip to Boise State and Montana State this week.
