LIHU'E, Kaua'i - The Saint Mary's Golf Team couldn't improve their standing on day three at the John A. Burns Intercollegiate, but fifth-year senior Michael Slesinski shot up the standings in the final round with a 69. That put Slesinski 2-under on the day and for the tournament overall to finish 17th among 102 golfers.
Along with Slesinski's 17-spot climb, Connor Reis also improved his scores on day three by finishing 1-over par in the round with a 73. The Gaels couldn't climb out of 13th place in the 18-team field even with three players making eagles at the tournament which was the third-highest total.

The Gaels will play in the Lake Las Vegas Invitational in Henderon Nevada from February 28 to March 2.
