Box Score SACRAMENTO, Calif. – Saint Mary's Women's Tennis got their first win of the spring season on Sunday afternoon after a 5-2 defeat of Sacramento State featuring some convicing victories on the Sacramento State Tennis Courts.
 
The Gaels won the doubles competition after Mariia Kozyreva and Jordan Harris beat the combo of Weronika Ejsmont and Megan Tagaloa 6-4 and Julia Ronney and Jocelyn Massey took down Maddy Ferreros and Alexis Johnson 6-0.
 
Saint Mary's took the first four singles matches of the day to secure their first dual-match victory of 2022. Ronney got her second singles victory of the season as she defeated Ferreros 6-3, 7-5. Harris topped Ejsmont 6-1, 6-0, Lene Mari Hovda beat Paige Alter 6-2, 6-3, and Massey bested Tagaloa 6-0, 6-4.
