The Gaels played a back and forth match against Sacramento State last time out, narrowly losing 3-4.

Carlos Ramos Membrives beat Ori Maior 4-6, 6-2, 6-2, and
Thibaud Maxant topped Rudolfs Aksenoks 3-6, 6-4, 6-3. Despite these stellar efforts, the Gaels were not able to secure the win.

ABOUT STANFORD
Stanford defeated Saint Mary's last season by a score of 1-6, going on to finish their solid season 11-6.

The Cardinal come in 8-2 so far in dual-match play this season, currently third in the PAC 12.

Stanford is coming off of a loss to USC this past Sunday 1-4, despite starting dual-match play with six straight wins.

ABOUT NEVADA
The Gaels defeated Nevada 4-1 last year in Reno, as they went on to finish the season with a record of 6-11.

The Wolfpack come in 8-3 so far this season, currently first place in the Mountain West Standings.

Nevada is coming off of an 0-4 loss to Utah, and will look to rebound this week against BYU on Friday and Saint Mary's on Sunday.
