ABOUT PORTLAND
Portland have fought to climb the ladder this season, but remain at the bottom of the pack overall within the WCC. Their last four West Coast Conference matches have ended in a loss. On the brighter side, the Pilot's roster consists of a nationally-ranked competitor, junior Iva Zelic. Zelic has become nationally-ranked at No. 108 just a few weeks ago in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Singles Rankings.
Â
ABOUT GONZAGA
Similarly, Gonzaga Women's Tennis has struggled this season with just one win of six matches in West Coast Conference play. Their last two more recent matches have ended in upsets, against both Pepperdine and LMU. The Bulldogs have a chance to turn the tables this upcoming week against Saint Mary's.Â
