Leia Hanafin basket right off the jump ball, but it would be SMC's only lead of the night.

Saint Mary's trailed by seven halfway through the first, but the Gaels went on a run and cut it to one on an
Aspen Garrison layup with 3:29 to go in the first. But Portland would finish the quarter up by eight and extend their lead to 36-17 at the half.

The Pilots kept a 20-plus point lead the rest of the way, keeping the Gaels to 32.7% shooting on the night and 1 of 8 from three-point range.
