MORAGA, Calif. – Tayla Dalton's game-high 19 points and team-high six assists at Cal has earned her the Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week Award for December 4.

It was the fourth-straight game that Dalton has scored in double figures, and the fifth time in her last six games. The 19 points were a season-high for Dalton, just three off her career mark of 22 at USF from 2022. Dalton also tied her season-high in rebounds with three. She scored 11, 16, and 10 points in her previous three games, and has only missed one free throw over her past five games.

The senior went 7 of 9 shooting from the floor and 3 of 4 from three-point range at Cal, making it the fifth-straight game she has shot 50 percent or higher from the field. Dalton's currently shooting a career-high 42.1% on three pointers so far, and leads the Gaels in assists with 19 on the season.

The Aukland, New Zealand native played on the Tall Ferns New Zealand National Team this summer that finished fourth overall in the FIBA Women's Asia Cup.

Saint Mary's will host Montana State this Friday at 6:30 p.m., who Dalton scored 20 points against last season for her season-high in points of the 2022-23 season.
