Jack Jerge,
James Watney, and
James Primo Williams, who have all had very successful high school and amateur careers.

Avery Lazarski
The Las Vegas native attended Bishop Gorman High, where he played on the varsity team for four years. He won the individual title at his regional tournament his senior year, and the team went on to win the Nevada State Title for boys golf. This past summer, he competed in the AJGA PeachTree Invitational finishing in the top five, as well as finishing in a tie for seventh at the AJGA Se Ri Pak Desert Championship. Other highlights include finishing in a tie for second in the Local US Open Qualifier with a final score of 69, five finishes in the top 15 of AJGA events, and three top 3 finishes in Toyota Junior Tour events.
James Watney
Attended Buchanan High School in Fresno, Calif. and finished all conference on his varsity golf team with many top ten finishes in tournaments. His summer was highlighted by his qualifying and participation in the US Junior Amateur. En Route to qualifying for this prestigious event for the second time, he fired off a 66 and earned medalist honors to secure his spot. He also made the cut in the NCGA Stroke Play Championship, played in the NCGA Amateur, and shot a 65, -8 in the Local US Amateur Qualifying.
Jack Jerge
A Bay Area native who played for the De La Salle Spartans won two high school state championships as a part of one of the strongest teams in the region. His senior year, he placed fourth in the state tournament with a -4, 67 and was named MVP of the East Bay Athletic League. He defended his 2022 title this past summer at the AJGA San Jose Classic and made the cut at the Western Junior Invitational as well as the Junior PGA Championship. He took home fourth place overall in the High School National Championship contested at PGA Frisco and also placed second in the AJGA Heather Farr event.
James Primo Williams
The Martinez, Calif. native won two state championships while a part of the De La Salle High School golf team. In the Northern California High School State Championship, he fired off a -1, 71 and a solid 72, even par at the CIF Tournament. He was also a great contributor to his team winning the NCS Championship and league tournament. Williams also made first team All League. This past summer, he qualified and competed in the NCGA Amateur.
The Gaels resume action at the Nick Watney Invitational hosted by Fresno State on September 25 at 26 at the Fort Washington Country Club.
