XC | Gaels Will Compete at Pacific Invite

STOCKTON, Calif - SMC will be battling in the Pacific Invite this Friday evening, where both men and women will be competing.
LAST TIME OUT
This past Friday, the men competed in the Bill Dellinger Invitational where they took 12th out of 14. Blaine Reynolds competed in his first race of the season, where he placed 55th with a time of 24:50.4 Right behind him was Cayden Hein in 58th with a time of 24:51.5 and Curtis Volf rounding out the top-three Gael runners at 69th with a time of 25:03.3.
Two weeks ago, the women competed in the Waves Invitational, where they finished second out of nine. Rayna Stanziano competed in her first race of the season and was the Gael's top finisher with a time of 14:01.7 in third place, followed by her teammate Molly Dreher, who also made her season debut with a time of 14:10.8, finishing in 12th place.
THE LINE UP
The men competing in the Pacific Invite are Payton Fox, Angel Castro, Sam Andersen, Jacob Bravo, Jason Bravo, Jason Habash, and Max Barnes.
The women competing in the Pacific Invite are Kaylee Barnes, Callie Bucanan, Lauren Buckley, Jane Carney, Jillian Carrillo, Molly Dreher, Emily Field, Klara Frih, Eleanor Jepsen, Michaela Martin, Ana Mercado, Luz Mercado, Elizabeth Nip, Britney Perera, and Rayna Stanziano.
ABOUT THE COURSE
The Pacific Invite will be held at Micke Grove Golf Course in Lodi. The course consists of 2K loops where the Bermuda Grass is mostly flat with occasional cart path crossings.
THE FIELD
The Gaels will compete against WCC foes Pacific and Santa Clara. Also competing in the Invite is Clovis CC, Dominican (Cal.), El Paso CC, Fresno State, Sacramento State, San Jose State, Standord, UC Davis, and UC Santa Cruz
