MTEN | Moysan and Maxant Named WCC Doubles Players of the Week

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced that the Saint Mary's Men's Tennis tandem of Mathis Moysan and Thibaud Maxant have been named the WCC Doubles Team of the Week for January 30.
The "French Connection" of Moysan and Maxant won both of their matches this week, with a 7-5 win over Lucas Bollinger and Antreas DJakouris of UC Davis, and a 6-3 win over Luca Lemaitre and Tiago Boschmans of Santa Clara.
The combo could have had a 3-0 start to the season, as they even had a 5-4 lead over Stanford's Aryan Chaudhary and Filip Kolasinski before the match was called due to the Cardinal winning the doubles point.
SMC has been able to put the junior and senior together in a doubles tandem this season with Maxant healthy and back from injury after his season was cut short last year.
The Gaels are back in action at home this Saturday, January 3 when they host Sacramento State at 1:00 p.m.
