LIVE STATS
10 STRAIGHT FOR FERGUSON
Sophomore Hannah Ferguson has extended her hit streak to 10 consecutive games. That is the longest hit streak for a Gael this season, as she has now crept her average to a team and conference high 0.404 average. The hit streak is the longest in her young career, by a hefty margin, as her previous high was six in a row earlier this season.
QUEEN OF THE THREE BAGGER
Freshman
Sam Buckley logged her sixth triple last week, moving her into the top-10 in program history all-time in that category. The Burbank, California native is locked in a three way tie for 10th all-time with Michelle Mounts, Paula Libby and Claire Lammerding. She is halfway to the program record 12 in just 30 games of action. The single season triples record is eight, which Sam is well on pace to breaking.
ABOUT THE WOLFPACK
Nevada has already reached the 25 win mark for the second consecutive season, after winning 31 a season ago. First year interim Head Coach Marina Demore has put together a stellar start to her head coaching career. The Wolfpack boast a trio of players in their starting batting over 0.400, Bailie Clark, Gabby Herrera, and Chellie Senini. On top of this, all three of Nevada's pitchers, Blake Craft, Carly Brown and Tyra Craft all boast sub 2.40 ERAs. All-time, the Wolfpack lead the series 18-6.
