GOLF | Day One Wraps Up in San Diego with Bressum Leading Gaels

SAN DIEGO – Saint Mary's Golf concluded day one of the Lamkin Invitational with Kristian Bessum leading the Gaels at 4-under par, good for a tie at 13th out of 94 golfers.
Bressum is 5-under on par fives and second overall on total pars made among all golfers with 28. He shot a 69 on the par-72 course in round one and a 71 in round two. The Randers, Denmark native birdied on holes two and 14 at the San Diego Country Club.
SMC as a whole are third in total pars made with 116, and currently sit in 10th place of 16 teams. Aidan Lee is the next Gael up on the leaderboard with a 70 in round one before a 73 in round two.
