WTEN | Gaels Defeated By LMU in LA 4-2

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team put up a fight against LMU, falling short 4-2. 
 
The Lions started off the doubles defeating Stefanie Silva and Sofia Daryaie 6-2. The Gaels came back to take down LMU as Iman Khan and Olivia Rook outlasted Anastasia Bozoba and Ste Rogozinska-Dzik 6-3. Loyola Marymount secured the doubles point with a 7-5 win over Juliette Daries and Madison Weekley
 
LMU took a three point lead by snatching the first two single points defeating Khan 6-3, 6-0 and MiaAngelina Ruja 6-1, 6-0. 
 
Daries put the Gaels first point on the board as she defeated Kim-Michaela Zahraj 6-2, 6-4. Daryaie didn't shy away from Bozoba as she pushed the set to three, putting SMC on top on court six, 6-2, 4-6, 6-3. 
 
Lions Fiona Arrese secured the overall win for LMU as she outlasted Silva 6-3, 4-6, 6-1.
