Connor Linchey Takes Home Second Shamrock-Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week Honors this Season

MORAGA, Calif. — For the second time this season, Connor Linchey of Saint Mary's baseball has been honored as the Shamrock Office Solutions Student-Athlete of the Week. Connor picked up the win for the Gaels on Saturday as a part of a sweep weekend against the University of San Francisco.
Linchey earned the Saturday start for the Gaels against the Dons, and was perfect through the first four innings, eventually going 7.2 innings of shutout baseball while fanning seven. The senior right hander worked around five different Don base runners, stranding them all on the basepaths, as he and Ryan Sanders combined for the team's third shutout victory of the year.
Linchey and the Gaels will be back in action at home on Tuesday, taking on UC Davis before heading to Santa Clara for a three game set this weekend.
