MORAGA, Calif. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team clinched the fifth seed as they compete in the West Coast Conference Championship tournament this week taking on No. 4 LMU.
The Gaels and the Lions recently went head-to-head in the regular season, with LMU defeating Saint Mary's 4-2.
Prior to the tournament beginning, the WCC announced their All-Conference honors with
Iman Khan being placed on the Second Team and duo
Olivia Rook and Khan receiving honorable mention.

The Gaels got swept by the Conference No. 1 seed, No. 8 nationally ranked, Pepperdine 7-0.
The Waves No. 2 duo Savannah Broadus and Janice Tjen started off the match strong, followed by Lisa Zaar and Anna Campana taking the doubles point.
SMC went head-to-head with four ranked single match players from Pepperdine, where three of four defeated Saint Mary's, one match being retired. The Waves continued the match taking down two more Gaels to earn the 7-0 win.
ABOUT LMU
Prior to the season starting, Loyola Marymount was selected to finish third overall, with Senior Stefania Rogozinska-Dzik being one of the honorees. The Lions ended up clinching the fourth seed, with Rogozinska-Dzik receiving Second Team in the singles All-Conference, along with securing a spot on Second Team doubles All-Conference with her duo Isabella Tcherkes. Throughout the season, LMU competed against three nationally ranked teams: No. 29 UCLA, No. 7 Pepperdine, and No. 15 San Diego.
