BRANENTON, Flor. - The Saint Mary's Women's Tennis team fell short 4-0 in the UTR Sports National Invitational Tennis Championship (NIT) to Colorado University. 
 
The Buffaloes started off the match strong as they secured the doubles point defeating SMC's duo MiaAngeling Ruja and Madison Weekley 6-1, followed by taking down Juliette Daries and Tian Yu Dong 6-2. 
 
The CU Buffs continued to dominate as they swept the Gaels in the singles. Court four finished first as Colorado Betina Tokac outlasted Dong 6-3, 6-3. CU up by two, quickly came up by three as Pia Rebec defeated Weekley 6-3, 6-1. Securing the win for the Buffaloes was Mila Stanojevic taking down Daries 6-2, 7-6(5).
