SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. - The Saint Mary's women's cross country team finished fifth out of 10th at the USF Invitational.

Kaylee Barnes was the Gael to beat as she crossed the finish line with a time of 20:42.4. Barnes was sandwiched between Stanford runners where she jumped 9 spots and finished fourth overall. She was 1.4 seconds behind Stanford's third place finisher and 4.5 seconds before their fifth place.
Eleanor Jepsen clocked in at 22:15.0, where she was able to jump from 48th to 24th start to finish and
Luna Mole finished 32nd with a time of 22:25.5. The Gaels secured 39th and 40th with
Klara Frih having a time of 22:29.8 and
Elle Shrader 1.4 seconds behind Frih.
