RENO, Nev. — The Saint Mary's Gaels took to the track at Reno-Sparks Convention Center for the Silver and Blue Invitational. 13 different Gaels competed in three different events, with more than half of them taking top-10 finishes. Headlining the group were Klara Frih and Sarah DeLaCerda, both with podium finishes. 

Allie Davis-Libiano and McKenna Burrows opened the day for the Gaels in the 200m, with both finishing within 0.5 seconds of their PRs in the events. Klara Frih then turned heads with her first career 600m, placing second overall in the race with a time of 1:36.15. The 3000m was the final race for the Gaels, and featured the other 10 runners who made the trek to Reno, with six of those ten finishing within the top-10. Freshman Sarah DeLaCerda led the group, placing third overall with a time of 10:25.33. The Gaels then had seven runners occupy spots 6-12 in the race and two more occupy spots 14 and 15. 

The Gaels next chance to take the track will be on February 21 and 22 in Spokane in the MPSF Conference Championship.
