BERKELEY, Calif. — Gaels thrower Regina Molitoris opened her outdoor track season with a bang, winning the shot put and placing seventh in the discus at the 2025 Cal All-Comers Meet. Molitoris out-threw the next closest shot putter by 10.25 inches to secure the crown. She also finished seventh in the field of 12 for the discus.

Also competing at the event for the Gaels was Andrea Villegas, who ran in the 1500m and placed 22nd with a time of 5:10.24. It was her first time running this distance collegiately. Gael Rayna Stanziano won the race with a time of 4:22.61, running unattached. 

The Gaels will be back at Berkeley on March 8 for the Cal Opener.
