MORAGA, CALIF. - The Saint Mary's men's tennis team had a great year in the classroom, earning five WCC All-Academic selections with senior
Thibaud Maxant representing the Gaels with a First Team selection.
Paulo Hugo Etchecoin,
Ellison Greco,
Pierre Lieutaud and
Carlos Ramos Membrives all earned Honorable Mention recognition to round out their five total selections good for second most out of the eight member institutions.
Maxant earned his second consecutive WCC All-Academic selection after being named Honorable Mention in 2024.
Carlos Ramos Membrives earned his third straight Honorable Mention selection dating back to 2023 while Etchecoin, Greco and Lieutaud all earned Honorable Mention status for the first time in their SMC careers.
The team's five WCC All-Academic selections was the most since the 2023 season when they earned six. Saint Mary's will continue their season in the WCC Tournament, taking on three-seed Santa Clara on Thursday, April 24th at 1:00 PM for their first postseason apperance in two years.
